The contents of this folder can be deleted and RoboHelp will recreate the contents on reopening the project. Make a backup of the whole project first.rh Folder If you proceed regardless, it is at your own risk. If you are downgrading from 2020 to 2019, the ID liine needs to be deleted. The Project Version needs to be changed to the version on the earlier release. If you open the RHPJ file from the 2020 version in a text editor, you will find this code at the beginning. If you want to open a 2020 project in 2019 or not update as above, you proceed entirely at your own risk. Rather than open a project that has been worked on in a later update but both machines are on 2019 or both are on 2020, update the installation on the other machine. If you can't find the source files, you have a lot of work ahead of you to reverse engineer your project from the output. Perhaps a co-worker knows which network folders they typically used? If they left notes or a style guide, that might give a clue if the project is on a network drive.You can also just search all of c: for *.xpj. Or they might have a folder directly off C: that they created - look for help, robohelp or a folder that matches the project name (If there's a log file, that file name is probably the project name). Check in their Documents folder for a My Robohelp Projects folder (you'll need an admin account to access this I think). Perhaps you can find the source project in source control.
